Xiaomi has achieved a major milestone by delivering over 500,000 SU7 electric cars since launch. The company exceeded its revised 2025 target of 350,000 vehicles a month ahead of schedule.
The SU7 sedan launched in March 2024 and competes directly with the Tesla Model 3. Xiaomi delivered over 50,000 vehicles in December 2025 alone, showing strong demand.
The company has also launched the YU7 SUV which quickly gained popularity with buyers. The YU7 accounted for a significant portion of total sales in recent months.
Xiaomi is now offering an upgraded SU7 with longer range up to 902 kilometers per charge. The new model includes LiDAR technology as standard for advanced safety features.
The company aims to sell 550,000 vehicles in 2026 and enter European markets by 2027. Xiaomi cars are currently available only in China with plans for global expansion.
