Apple has announced the upgraded Vision Pro 2 with the powerful M5 chip and a comfortable Dual Knit Band. The new version launches on October 22, 2025 with significant performance improvements.
The M5 chip is built on advanced 3-nanometer technology for better efficiency and power. It features a 10-core CPU and 10-core GPU for enhanced graphics and faster processing speeds.
Users will experience faster AI-powered workflows and improved spatial computing experiences. The new Dual Knit Band addresses comfort complaints from the original Vision Pro headset.
The upgraded headset runs visionOS 26 with new features and better app compatibility. Over 2,000 spatial apps are available for the Vision Pro platform today.
Apple is also working on a more affordable Apple Vision headset for mainstream consumers. The budget model has been delayed until at least 2027 for release worldwide.
