Rockstar Games has officially announced that Grand Theft Auto 6 will launch on November 19, 2026. The highly anticipated game will be available for Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles first.
The release date has been pushed back from the previously expected May 2026 window. Rockstar says they need more time to deliver the quality experience fans expect from the franchise.
The PC version of GTA 6 will arrive later than the console release. PC gamers will need to wait additional months before they can play the game on their computers.
The game will launch at midnight in New Zealand and roll out across time zones globally. Players can already add GTA 6 to their wishlist on Xbox and PlayStation stores.
GTA 6 returns to Vice City with two main characters named Lucia and Jason. The game features the biggest open world Rockstar has ever created for players to explore.
